Enhanced Security Measures for a Safe Festive Season in Kwara State
Kwara State residents are enjoying a safer festive season, thanks to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), which deployed 2,500 officers across the state. The initiative aims to ensure peace and security during Christmas and New Year celebrations.
State Commandant, Iskilu Ayinla, stated, “Our officers are strategically stationed to prevent criminal activities and respond promptly to emergencies.”
The deployment covers public areas, such as markets, places of worship, and recreational centers. Residents have expressed gratitude for the enhanced security, which has allowed them to celebrate without fear.
