The Kwara State Education Trust Fund has reaffirmed its commitment to educational excellence by sponsoring 180 top-performing pupils to sit for the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE). This initiative aims to remove financial barriers and provide equal opportunities for talented students across the state.

On Saturday, March 22, 2025, a total of 640 high-achieving pupils from all 16 local government areas participated in a statewide mock examination. The top 180 scorers have now earned full sponsorship for the NCEE, marking a significant investment in the future of Kwara’s young learners.

This program builds on the success of KwaraLEARN, an initiative that has significantly improved primary education by enhancing learning outcomes and strengthening teacher accountability. With three graduating cohorts already benefiting from the initiative, the state remains committed to expanding access to quality education and empowering the next generation.
